Why do they do it?
Our story really began with our own wedding. After experiencing firsthand just how quickly wedding expenses add up, we knew there had to be a way to give couples the support they deserve without making their wedding budget feel impossible. We started Sweet Moments Events with one simple goal: to provide dependable, personalized, cost-effective wedding services that allow couples and their families to actually enjoy the day they've spent so much time planning. Over time, that vision grew. Coordination turned into a husband-and-wife team offering coordination and DJ services together, and eventually expanded to include content creation as another affordable way to capture the little moments couples never want to forget. We know how fast your wedding day goes because we've lived it ourselves. We know how much money, time, emotion, and love goes into planning it. And we know that when the day finally arrives, your only job should be to soak it all in. That's our why. We want to handle the details, solve the problems, keep things moving, and give you and the people you love the freedom to simply be present for the sweet moments.

Victoria
Victoria is the heart behind Sweet Moments Events. A wife, mom to Mary Grace, and University of South Carolina graduate, she balances her love for weddings with her career as a Senior Corporate Paralegal.
Her professional background has made organization, preparation, communication, and attention to detail second nature — skills that translate perfectly into making sure every wedding day runs as smoothly as possible.
When she isn't working a wedding or tackling the corporate world, you'll usually find her spending time with Slade and Mary Grace, loving on their two cats and dog, or dreaming up the next big idea for Sweet Moments.
Slade
Owner/Wedding DJ
If you ask Victoria, Slade has basically been a walking jukebox his entire life. Music has always been a huge part of who he is, from growing up around music in church to DJing throughout high school and college.
Slade earned his bachelor's degree from the University of the Cumberlands and began professionally DJing weddings and events alongside Victoria in 2021.
Today, he's the other half of both Sweet Moments' joint packages and their little family. Above everything else, he's a husband and proud dad to Mary Grace — who may just be his biggest fan.
